Kabul, 04, Aug, 2018 – PCR department conducted a meeting with DAB management to discuss about the implementation of PCR second phase project and amendment of mortgage law on immovable property. The meeting was organized under chairmanship of H.E. Wahidullah Nosher, first deputy governor of DAB and with the participation of PCR team and director generals of legal, financial supervision and monetary policy departments.
At the beginning, H.E. 1st deputy governor, discussed about the importance of public credit registry and the registration of securing charge on immovable property in the banking system. He also highlighted that implementation of PCR project will further develop and expand the system.
Later on, Said Aziz Sadat, director general of PCR, announced the full readiness of PCR team in relation to the implementation of PCR second phase project.
Lastly, the main objective of the meeting was discussed as the use of PCR system by non-regulated entities in the next phase and bringing amendment to the mortgage law for registration of securing charges on immovable property in the near future.
